Andrew D. Hevesi (born November 19, 1973) is a Democratic member of the New York State Assembly representing District 28, which includes Forest Hills, Rego Park, Richmond Hill, Glendale, Kew Gardens, Ridgewood, and Middle Village. He was first elected on May 10, 2005, and has served as chair of the Assembly Committee on Children and Families since 2021. He is running for re-election in the Democratic primary on June 23, 2026.
