Their priorities

Issues Chris is raising that aren't a shared debate across the field.

  • Lower Utility Bills

Chris supports regulating AI data centers that are driving up residential bills and fighting to lower residential customer bills rather than giving special deals to large corporate data centers.

  • LGBTQ+ Rights

Chris is a proud ally who will always stand up for the dignity, safety, and full equality of LGBTQ+ New Yorkers. He supports strong anti-discrimination protections, inclusive schools, access to affirming health care, and protecting every person's right to live openly, safely, and with pride.

Chris backs legislation transitioning new construction away from natural gas and promoting renewable energy. He plans to establish climate-resilient infrastructure and adaptation plans for southern Brooklyn communities.

  • Education

Chris strongly supports the state's new class size law for smaller classes, paying teachers fairly, fixing Tier 6 retirement benefits, upholding collective bargaining rights, making CUNY and SUNY tuition-free for in-state students, and expanding trade school training programs.

  • Combating Hate & Discrimination

Chris supports comprehensive anti-discrimination policies, community dialogue, increased funding for protecting houses of worship, and strengthened hate crimes legislation.
