Based in East Harlem

Edward "Eddie" Gibbs is the incumbent Assemblymember for New York's 68th district, which encompasses East Harlem, Randall's Island, and parts of the Upper East Side and Central Harlem. He is the first formerly incarcerated person to serve in the New York State Legislature and is a lifelong community organizer dedicated to creating opportunities and reducing violence and poverty.
