Emily Gallagher is the Democratic member of the New York State Assembly representing District 50, which covers Greenpoint and parts of Williamsburg in Brooklyn. First elected in 2020, she is a longtime neighborhood activist focused on environmental, transportation, and housing justice. She led the All-Electric Buildings Act and the LLC Transparency Act in the 2023 session.
