Karines Reyes is a registered nurse and union representative who has represented New York State Assembly District 87 since 2019. Born in the Dominican Republic and raised in Puerto Rico, she is an Afro-Latina and a Bronx resident for nearly 20 years. She balances her legislative work with being a mother to two young sons.
