We do run ads on Google to help people find By The People. To see whether those ads work, Google's tag notes when someone who clicked one of our ads finishes a race quiz, picks a candidate, or creates an account. As on any site with Google's tag, Google can see which of our pages you're on, but it never learns which candidate you picked, your party, or your answers. Some state privacy laws treat this as “sharing” personal information, so you can turn it off here.
