Federal candidates file with the FEC. The figures here come from pre-primary reports covering activity through July 22, 2026. Mark Sanford's roughly $1.35 million cash on hand is mostly legacy carryover from his long-dormant House committee, renamed Sanford for Senate; he raised about $206,000 this cycle. Mark Lynch's $5.92 million cycle total is dominated by $5,050,000 in personal loans, against $661,504 in individual contributions. Russell Fry's Senate committee raised $495,027 in its first three days of activity — $800,000 within its first week-plus, per the Post and Courier — and his House committee separately held about $1.04 million that is transferable but had not been transferred as of the pre-primary filing. Ralph Norman reported no self-funding through July 22, but has since put $400,000 of his own money into the campaign. Darline Graham's committee registered July 23 and the FEC had not processed any report from it as of August 4; her support is arriving chiefly as outside spending, and the NRSC is reported to be spending transferred Lindsey Graham funds on ads benefiting her. Since the pre-primary reports, FEC filings show the Palmetto Leadership Fund — a super PAC formed July 15 — with about $1.06 million supporting Fry and $12,000 opposing Norman, Security is Strength PAC with about $920,000 in filed expenditures supporting Graham, and Gun Rights America with about $15,000 of in-kind voter contact supporting Norman. Danny Ford II, restored to the ballot by court order on August 4, has no FEC committee on file.
