Jenifer Rajkumar is a lawyer, professor, and government leader who made history as the first South Asian-American elected to the New York State Assembly. She is a civil rights lawyer and professor at CUNY, and has served as a government official in the administration of NY Governor Andrew Cuomo. Rajkumar is running for re-election to represent District 38 in the 2026 election.
