Oster Bryan supports regulating generative AI for safety and worker justice, opposing its use for public-facing services, emergency services, or job replacements, and requiring transparency in AI use.

Oster Bryan advocates for enforcing the NYS Green Amendment to ensure clean air and water, opposing the proposed waste transfer station and lithium-ion battery plant in the district, and addressing emissions from JFK Airport. He has organized with the Southeast Queens Residents Environmental Justice Coalition (SQREJC) to close harmful projects.

Oster Bryan supports term limits for the State Assembly and State Senate, proposing a maximum of four 2-year terms, and will advocate for a ballot proposal to let voters decide.

Oster Bryan advocates for fully funding daycare, salary parity between public school teachers and daycare workers, closing the child care assistance waitlist, expanding services for infants and toddlers, fully funding CUNY and SUNY, restoring free tuition, increasing diversity in specialized high schools by preparing students for the SHSAT starting in middle school, and ending mayoral control of education to allow more community input.

Oster Bryan opposes predatory lending and deed theft, supports ending deed theft, creating sensible affordable housing while maintaining neighborhood character, and passing the Community Land Act to enable community land trusts. He also supports the City Council's Community Opportunity to Purchase Act (COPA).

Oster Bryan calls for preventing gun violence by addressing root causes such as economic hardship and adverse childhood experiences, investing in afterschool programs, mental health support, crisis management systems, and quality public education, and creating third spaces for youth. He opposes overpolicing that feeds the school-to-prison pipeline.

Oster Bryan states he does not believe in funding by special interests—corporate developers, super PACs, or big business—and will never take their money as a candidate or Assemblymember.

Oster Bryan supports fighting big business takeover of mom-and-pop stores, implementing small business rent stabilization, and using the Assembly office to uplift working-class entrepreneurs.

Oster Bryan calls for unmasking ICE agents, providing legal services for immigrants, and fighting for dignity, connecting immigrant rights to the civil rights movement.

Oster Bryan commits to hiring competent staff, resolving constituent issues in a timely manner, hosting events, tabling weekly, and pushing legislation based on community input rather than self-interest.

Oster Bryan supports reparations for Black and indigenous communities in New York, acknowledging the history of slavery, Jim Crow, redlining, and other discrimination, and vows to see the work of the NYS Community Commission on Reparations through to completion.
