Democrat Jo Anne Simon, in the seat since 2015, beat Brett Wynkoop in 2022 and 2024 with more than 90% of the vote. She won the June 2026 primary over Lydia Green and is on the Democratic and Working Families lines; Wynkoop is on the Republican and Conservative lines.
